✈The central government has decided to privatize Air India



🛩Union government has decided to privatize Air India, along with Air India Express, a subsidiary of its subsidiary, Air India Express, informed the Union Civil Minister, Hardeep Singh Puri.

🛫This information was given by Puri while speaking in Rajya Sabha. He said that according to the central government's policy of disinvestment, the decision was taken to give 5 percent privatization of Air India, Air India Express and the sale of its government stake completely. Air India and Air India Express have a 5 per cent stake in the central government. Earlier, due to the decision by the central government to retain 5 per cent stake in Air India, the attempt to privatize it was not successful.
